| Seward Harbor Opening Weekend has been a
local tradition for years, with businesses and activities rolling
out the red carpet for our visitors over the third weekend in May.
In 2007, the activities are bigger and better, with the first annual
Seward Ocean Festival. Combining the Harbor Opening Weekend
tradition with a sea kayak extravaganza brings the water alive.
We celebrate and thank our military members this weekend, and invite
members of the Armed Services and their families to a free barbeque
on Saturday, May 19th, in the small boat harbor. Family-oriented events around town make sure there's something for
the land-lubber in each of us, too! |
